Human Resistin ELISA Kit

Resistin is a small protein (92aa) secreted from adipose tissue and circulates as a homodimer of two peptides joined by a disulfide bridge.  It is linked to insulin resistance and glucose intolerance.  It is the putative hormone thought to link obesity with type 2 diabetes.

This kit is for non-radioactive quantification of Human Resistin in serum, plasma or tissue culture.  Each kit contains reagents sufficient to run a standard curve, quality controls, and 35 samples in duplicate. This kit is for research purposes only.
